In this blog, we’ll explain all the clickables in the app and the downloading process itself to help you have an easy time with it all. If you’re all about informed usage —as you should be— scroll down, and don’t scroll back up too soon. You’re about to get a complete guide on how to navigate the application and boost your passive income to the roof and through it. Buckle up and let’s go!
How to Download Pawns.app
First things first — you can’t do much without downloading the app. It’s free to download and install, so keep the change and the rest of your cash. And it’s compatible with all devices worldwide.
You can download it on PC or smartphone. If you’re going with option #1, go to the Pawns website and click the right button to get it for your platform. However, if you’re definitely pro option #2, search for it in your Play Store or App Store; it works on both Android and Apple devices.
Once the app is installed, open it, find the Sign-up button, and tap on it. Since you’re new, you’ll need to create an account by entering your password and email information. Fun fact: You can also sign up with Google.
If your friend or a fellow Pawns.app user has given you a referral code or coupon to sign up with, you should take their advice. It’ll get you two cool bonuses: $1 on your first sign-up and also another $2 after the next two payouts, which is $3 in total. And your buddy also gets $3 for referring you to the app!
The next step is to verify your account. You get a verification email right after you sign up, and you basically verify your future earning feats.
That would be all about the downloading process. Now, let’s cover all the in-app tabs one by one.
The Home Page 🏠
The Home page is the first page the app takes you when you open it. Here, you can stay on top of whatever it is you’re doing to snatch one more penny with Pawns. You can track your internet sharing, see your current balance, jump over to your referral earnings, and also get a few of your app-related questions answered. Let’s take a quick look at all these one by one.
A Quick Guide About the $3 Referral Bonus
Since you’re brand new 😃 and haven’t had a chance to read this guide, it’ll float itself on top of the Home page until you click Dismiss. It’s a pretty useful read that’ll explain to you exactly how referrals work if you click on Learn more, so give it a chance. ☺️
Traffic Shared
This is where things start to get interesting. Pawns.app lets you earn by sharing your unused internet for cash. You need to tap the Share internet button, and you’re done — as simple as that. If you want, you can also let the app run in the background so you can share bandwidth at all times by tapping on Ensure background sharing. Turn sharing off whenever you want — just tap the Stop sharing button.
Your Balance
In this section, you can see how you’re doing balance-wise.
- Pawns earnings: Here you’ll see your earnings are displayed there, as well as your remaining referral bonus (the little i keeps the info on the bonuses encapsulated) and the Total earnings drop-down menu. This menu shows you how your income is spread across the different earning options.
- Referral earnings: If you tap on Referral earnings, the app will show you how much you’ve earned from your referrals. More referral stats are available from the Stats drop-down menu or the See all referral stats tab.
- Request payout: To request a payment, which is an option once you’ve made $5, you can tap the Request payout button.
Earn More With Referrals
This section invites you to use your referral code for good. 😃 The code is displayed right here. You can tap on the Earn more button to jump over to the Community window and explore how to post your code for more cash.
A 5-step Introduction to Pawns.app (FAQ section)
Before you start using Pawns, it’ll be nice to get yourself more informed about the app’s essentials. Find more info about stuff at the bottom of the Home page — swipe through the five cards in this section or visit our blog (top right).
The Earn Tab💲
Once you tap on the Earn tab, you’ll see some of the earning opportunities available with the app. Here’s what you can do to make your pockets explode.
Surveys
The paid surveys offered are fun and quick. You can do them when you’re relaxing. If there’s nothing listed there, you can tap the Complete quests tab and see how you can boost your income from that window instead.
History
This little side tab shows all your completed surveys and your earnings from each one.

A tap on this button explains how to read the app’s tags to choose the best surveys.
Games
If you tap the Games section of the window, Pawns will invite you to check out the games and find your favorite one. All you need to do is continue tapping, this time on the Accept button, and track your ‘playtime’ by tapping on Activate now. And — okay, for the last time — tap Allow usage access in your phone’s settings. Then, it’s time to get your game on! 🎮
The Quests Tab 🔐
The Quests tab is your gold mine. If you tap on it, you will find a long list of simple daily, weekly, and monthly tasks waiting for you. And if you start completing them, you’ll start earning points, which you can exchange for different rewards later. The Learn more button is your portal for all the details about this window. Here’s what else is displayed here.
Points
It’s the yellow coin with the pawn on it at the top right corner. Once you go there, you can see the status and history of your points, with a history of the ways you’ve earned and spent them.
Available
All the active quests are listed here.
Unclaimed
If you finished a quest but didn’t claim your earned points, you can do that here.
Rewards
All your points can be exchanged here. Depending on how many points you have, you can get different types of boosts. Alternatively, you can buy more points for cash or try your luck in Spin The Wheel.
Lucky Draw
Here, you have the ongoing and upcoming lucky draws. You can participate in these if you’ve stacked those points up. All the details about this feature are accessible through the View details and History tabs.
Challenges
Why not challenge yourself to finish a few tasks in a week and get rewarded for that? The yellow Quests box is ready for that tap, and so are you, right? Decide how many surveys you want to do, how much internet you want to share, how many friends you wish to invite, and how many quests you’d like to take. And then adjust the sliders!
The Community Tab 😊
Pawns is more than an app — it’s a community and one you’re part of. Behind this tab, you’ll run into cool ways to spread the word about the application and grow our tribe of earners. What’s packed in here?
Invite
The tab showers you with possibilities to make money — a perfect way to start using Pawns. It’s the core of the Community window, and it looks like this:
- Quick, 5-step referrals tutorial: You get to learn about the different ways of promoting Pawns.app (videos, referral links, social media posts, and QR codes) and why this pays off (you get a $3 bonus, and so do your invitees)!
- Referral link: Every Pawns user has a dedicated referral link. Once you tap this button, you can choose whether to share the link directly on social media (tap on Share link) or copy it and figure out the sharing part later (tap on Copy link).
If you’re feeling friendly and want to bring a denser crowd over to the app faster, you can also allow Pawns.app to access your phone contacts by tapping on the Continue button in the enable contacts access window.
- Unique video: Let the app automatically create a video for you to show the best of Pawns in seconds! You can tap on Generate, and once it’s done, there’s an option to preview and download it.
- QR code: Tap here for a quick guide about how to use QR codes best to tell the offline world about the app. Calling everyone with a printer and with access to one! 🖨️
- Social media post: Do a bit of digital scrapbooking and quickly choose a fun message in your favorite language and on a cute template that invites your friends to Pawns.
- Find us here: Check out our channels and meet others as financially savvy as you, or enlighten us all with your superwisdom. 😃 Our community is super friendly, so come join the buzz!
Invitees
Keep track of all your invitees in this window — spy on them… legally. 😄 And also, poke some of them by pressing on the purple arrow next to their email address and then tapping on Poke or smash that Poke all button for a one-time group awakening!
The More Tab …
Before you start using Pawns, tap some time away in the More window. Here’s what you need to check out.
Account
Personalize your account and adjust the settings to get the best of Pawns.
- Account details: Add a cool nickname and, if necessary, change your password. You can also enable two-factor authentication to secure your account from the digital North to the digital South.
- Payout info: Choose your preferred currency and add your Bitcoin address (if you have one).
- Notifications: Enable or turn off the notifications from the app — what you choose is entirely up to you.
- Email notifications: If you want to be notified about special events and updated on new features, go ahead. 🩷
- Log out: Log out whenever you want to.
- Delete account: Don’t do this, but if you really insist, the button is there for you — but only if you really insist. 😢
Payouts
You’ll always keep your money in sight with your balance and withdrawals displayed right here.
- Your balance: Toggle between your Pawns earnings and your Referral earnings at all times and see how the ciphers change. You can also tap the Request payout button to get your earnings.
- My withdrawals: Whatever you’ve withdrawn from your account is shown here.
Internet-sharing
From here, you can make a few choices related to sharing unused bandwidth. Share it or don’t, use only Wi-Fi — or don’t, ensure background sharing, and allow the app to share internet in the background automatically. Or, again, don’t. You’re a free individual, but keep in mind there’s money in stock! 💰
Preferences
The Preferences tab lets you choose the app’s language and tweak its theme to match your ambiental survey-taking standards. 😃
