I am your slightly overexcited crossword editor, and today’s grid has a twist: Arrow Crosswords from FunCraft Games is a two-player, turn-based word game inspired by Scandinavian crosswords. The clues sit inside the grid instead of waiting in a separate list, and some of them are pictures, so your job is part vocabulary test, part visual detective work.
Each turn hands you five letters and just 60 seconds to decide where they belong. You score for correct placements, completed words, using all five letters, and landing useful bonus-point opportunities. The sneaky part is that a letter can be more valuable later than it looks right now. Sometimes the best move is not the loudest move – it is the one that leaves the next answer possible.
You are solving the same crossword as another player, but you are also competing for the higher score. That mix gives the game its personality: cooperate with the grid, compete on the scoreboard.
