Acceptable use policy

By using the Pawns.app Application, Website, or Dashboard, you agree to this Acceptable Use Policy as part of the Pawns.app Terms of Use. This Acceptable Use Policy is incorporated into and forms an integral part of the Pawns.app Terms of Use.

1. General Provisions and Definitions

1.1. This PAWNS.APP LTD Acceptable Use Policy (the “Use Policy”) sets out the rules governing the acceptable use of the Pawns.app Application, Website, Dashboard, and related features and functionalities, as described in the Terms of Use (the “Agreement”).

1.2. PAWNS.APP LTD is a legal entity incorporated in the United Kingdom, company number 16043795, with its registered office at C/O Tax Partners, 60 Gray’s Inn Road, London, WC1X 8LU, United Kingdom (the “Company”, “We”, “Us”, “Our”).

1.3. Any person who uses the Company’s Application, Website, Dashboard, or any related features or functionalities, including Surveys, Offers, or other forms of participation as defined in the Agreement, shall be deemed a User (the “User”, “You”, “Your”).

1.4. The Agreement governs the legal relationship between the Company and the User in relation to the Pawns.app Application, Website (https://pawns.app/), and related features and functionalities.

1.5. The latest version of the Agreement, as updated from time to time, is always available at https://pawns.app/terms-of-use/.

1.6. This Use Policy shall be applicable to and interpreted in accordance with the Agreement. The definitions set out in the Agreement apply equally to this Use Policy.

2. Core Obligations

2.1. The User agrees to use the Application and its features lawfully, in compliance with applicable laws, and in line with the Agreement and this Use Policy.

2.2. The User must provide accurate and up-to-date information during registration, Surveys, Offers, and identity verification processes.

2.3. The User must install and use the Application only on devices owned by the User or otherwise lawfully controlled by the User and within internet networks legally used by the User.

2.4. The User must respect the privacy, rights, and security of Pawns.app, its Users, and third parties.

2.5. The User is solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and all activities that occur under their account.

2.6. The User is responsible for any internet or mobile data fees incurred while using the Application and must not use it where prohibited or restricted by the User’s service provider or applicable laws.

2.7. Users are expected to exercise reasonable judgment and comply with the express prohibitions set out in this Use Policy.

3. Prohibited Activities

3.1. Fraudulent or Deceptive Practices

3.1.1. Creating multiple accounts using fake or multiple email addresses to operate the same functionality or to generate fraudulent activity, or creating an account using another person’s or company’s information, verification data, or fabricated details.

3.1.2. Providing any information that is materially false, inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading in the Dashboard or elsewhere within the Application, or failing to maintain such information as true, current, and complete. 

3.1.3. Manipulating or attempting to manipulate Earnings and Rewards in any fraudulent or artificial manner, including by using automated means or other techniques intended to simulate activity or falsify results. 

3.1.4. Engaging in fraudulent activities by intentionally masking or misrepresenting the User’s network connection through proxies, VPNs, or similar tools in order to bypass technical restrictions, security measures, or verification processes.

3.1.5. Refusing to complete identity verification or providing false or misleading verification information. 

3.1.6. Using another User’s account or providing access to the User’s account to any third party.

3.2 Security and Network Abuse

3.2.1. Uploading, transmitting, deploying, or otherwise making available any software viruses, malware, spyware, or other harmful code, programs, or files designed to interrupt, destroy, or limit the functionality of any computer hardware, software, or telecommunications equipment, as prohibited under the Agreement.

3.2.2. Attempting to interfere with the operation of Pawns.app, disrupt any User, host, or network, or gain unauthorized access to Pawns.app systems or User accounts, including falsely impersonating any person or entity or using any method not established in the Dashboard, Website, or the Agreement.

3.2.3. Attempting to cheat, misinform, defraud, mislead, or deceive Pawns.app in any way, including by circumventing controls, monetization rules, or usage limitations, for the purpose of accruing more Earnings or obtaining any other unauthorized benefit.

3.3 Unlawful Activities

3.3.1. Engaging in or promoting illegal activities such as fraud, money laundering, or exploitation.

3.3.2. Infringing intellectual property rights or privacy laws.

3.4 Unauthorized Commercial Use

3.4.1. Selling, reselling, or otherwise exploiting the Application commercially.

3.4.2. Operating, assisting, or otherwise participating in a competing service or product, or accessing the Application for the primary purpose of developing, operating, or assisting a competing service, including monitoring its behavior, performance, or functionality, as prohibited under the Agreement.

3.4.3. Using Pawns.app branding or trademarks without consent.

3.4.4. Reverse engineering, altering, modifying, or creating derivative works of the Application, or attempting to extract its source code.

4. Limitations and Disclosure of Vulnerabilities

4.1. The Company reserves the right to block access to or restrict use of the Application, Website, or Dashboard at its sole discretion, including in cases described in this Use Policy or the Agreement.

4.2. Users are encouraged to voluntarily report any breaches of this Use Policy, suspicious activity, or potential security vulnerabilities to legal@pawns.app. Reporting does not entitle Users to any financial reward. 

5. Modification of Policy

5.1. The Company may modify or update this Use Policy at any time in accordance with the Agreement.
5.2. Continued use of the Application, Website, or Dashboard following the publication of an updated version constitutes acceptance of the revised Use Policy.
5.3. The latest version will always be available on the Pawns.app Website.

6.2. The Company will make reasonable efforts to respond to inquiries related to this Use Policy in a timely manner, in accordance with applicable law.

7. Miscellaneous

7.1. Updates become effective according to the procedures stated in the Agreement.
7.2. Communication via legal@pawns.app shall be deemed the primary channel for matters concerning this Use Policy.

8. Governing Law

8.1. This Use Policy is governed by and interpreted under the laws of England and Wales.
8.2. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
